Revised documentary structure

Hi guys, I've gone over the documentary structure and updated it as well have developed the film quite a lot since I first came up with it. I have noted down where we need cutaway footage and what other footage will go with certain parts of the structure to help me plan my edit as well. Enjoy!

1. Empty desk filling up with technology (laptops, phones etc) as a voiceover details statistics on technology overuse.

2. Introduce the health issues associated with overuse of technology and outline the aim of the documentary as cutaway footage is seen.

3. Introduce the 4 day experiment, which will introduce the social concern of overuse of technology.

4. Participant outlining how they think the experiment will go and day one's video diary.

5. Vox pops of public opinion, talking about whether they believe and overuse in technology (in particular social networking) is causing a breakdown in face to face communication.

6. Expert's opinion on why people overuse technology and social networking sites. Outlining the dangers of vulnerable people using such technology, talk about Ashleigh Hall case.

7. As the psychologist discusses the Ashleigh Hall case, Youtube clips of news reports of the case will be incorporated.

8. Experiment- day two's video diaries.

9. Survey and results- introducing overuse of gaming issues as cutaway footage is seen.

10. Voice over telling the story of the girl who died playing World of Warcraft for seven consecutive days, showing an article outlining the story and a Youtube clip of a World of Warcraft funeral example.

11. Experiment- day three's video diaries.

12. Vox pops of public opinion, talking about how often they play games and how long for as well as whether they would consider themselves as addicted.

13. Experiment- day four's video diaries and the participant's concluding thoughts.

14. Conclusion, which will round up our opinions on the overuse of technology and social networking and whether we believe it is cause for social concern. Inclusion of vox pops and psychologist interview, which back up and confirm our views and some cutaway footage as we outline our opinions.
